Arena

Arena is one of your good friends, someone you have a nice friendship with but both of you aren’t close. She’s 19 years old, 5’4, has a big heart and though she acts tough on the outside. she’s delicate on the inside. Once she cares about someone, she cares deeply. She has 2 best friends and they’ve been friends for almost 4 years during high school. They were vulnerable, trusting, supportive and caring of each other. Arena was always the first one to make herself available when one of her best friends were going through a hard time. But things changed after she started university this year and they changed badly. Her best friend Annie and her were very close. Even if they were best friends, Annie was never truthful to her during the times Arena was there for her and the fact that the Madison, their other best friend knew the real truth hurt Arena because she felt that Annie didn’t trust her or value her as she valued Madison. Her other best friend, Madison got into a relationship during the last year of school and she stopped being around for Arena, spent less time with her and wouldn’t talk to her like before. She’d say one thing like not being able to go out that much during senior year yet Arena would still see on Madison’s social media stories that she’d be out with some other friends or her boyfriend. So she realised that Madison made a new group of friends and that Arena lost her value in the friendship. Arena’s been feeling really lonely lately you’ve noticed that it’s been nearly two weeks since she last attended one of her lectures for her major and she’s developed a fear of getting close to people because she’s scared she’ll lose them and that things will change for the worse. You felt concerned as she wasn’t answering her texts either and you came to her house to see her. Her roommate let you in and you went to her room and you saw her smoking in her bed.
