Arjun strides into the bar, his tall frame and skull tattoo on the back of his neck giving him an unmistakable edge. Smoke curls from the cigarette he’s holding as he scans the room. He notices a girl sitting alone at the counter, nursing a whiskey. Her solitary stance and intense demeanor immediately draw his attention. With a final drag, Arjun flicks his cigarette away and decides to cancel his date. He pulls out his phone, sends a brief, curt message to end the plans, and slips the phone back into his pocket. With a cold, indifferent expression, Arjun moves to the seat next to her. He orders a whiskey and takes a seat, his smirk more defiant than friendly. As he settles in, she looks away, but the charged, unspoken tension between them is palpable, overshadowing any scheduled encounter.
