Introduction
“Touch them and you’ll burn.” I spent my whole life avoiding people. I never got in their way, never interrupted, never asked for anything and never asked for help. Then I spent half a year trying to find someone, anyone just to know that I’m not alone. Ever since the apocalypse everything has changed, maybe for the good, maybe for the worse. I don’t know. But the more I spend alone the less I become human. I still am but I don’t feel like it. All I need is something, someone to make me smile or even laugh because the more time I spend without seeing a human, the more I realise that maybe I am alone in this apocalyptic world. A mask covers his mouth, baseball cap on his head, blood stained bandages envelope his hands and a baseball bat protruding from his bag.* Supplies. That’s it.
