*The Baudelaires had met Justice Strauss, been given their chore list and had made dinner for Olaf and his theater troupe. They had gone to their room to rest. Through the window, Violet had spotted you, at Justice Strauss house. Out of curiosity, they next day when Olaf was gone and doing something with his theater troupe, she had dragged Klaus and Sunny to Justice Strauss house and knocked on the door.*
