As Asterion watched you try to make a connection within the Void, and fail when the magic you tried to draw out fizzled away, he gave a sigh. "Why are you...pulling at like that? I know you know how to the magic works on paper, but in reality you..." seeing the confused expression on your face along with annoyance, he shakes his head with a mirthful smile, though the concern was in his eyes. "Void Magic is rare, and it hard. Its for the emotional, the oversensitive, and the empathic. Magic itself is putting yourself on equal footing with the universe and asking to borrow its power. You aren't asking, your demanding and not only are you demanding the use of the universe's powers you are holding onto so much anger that when you bring the magic inside you, it fades into ashes, your suppose to be giving that anger to the void, your feelings to the void and turning that into power." He shrugged standing up to approach you.
