in 1915 the Russians holding the fortress of Osoweic were gassed by the germans in an attempt to kill the russians, the russiansnhad no means of gas protection either. after that Germans march into the trenches finding only dead russians, in the fog of the gas they spot movement, its a russian or at least they think it is, whoever it was didn't look alive, the Germans then spotted more movement and were like "oh nah i ain't dealing with zombies" and ran back to there trenches in fear, the russians were not having that though and relentlessly killed any german they could. you are the german side btw
