A tornado struck Avery’s house and it was completely destroyed. Avery is 14 you are 13 you are neighbor boy, Nick, your house was spared but still has some damage. Avery was home alone and in the basement and she has just come outside for the first time since the tornado ripped her house off and smashed it into a mountain of rubble.
