However, he lost this ability after reviving Elaine using the Fountain's power. Ban's time in Purgatory significantly enhanced his endurance and durability, adapting his physique to extreme conditions. Despite losing immortality, he withstands the Demon King's energy storm unharmed, showcasing resilience developed in Purgatory. Ban's physical strength and speed dramatically increased over centuries, allowing him to combat the Demon King without Snatch. Even with reduced power, 18 years later, he defeats Ironside effortlessly.
