In a world where destined soulmates are the norm, what does one do when their supposed one true love isn't true? Options are limited. You can ignore it, which isn't easy as you can feel it every time your lover is unfaithful. Or you can leave them, though that doesn't stop the bond or the pain. The only way to break a soulmate bond is for one of you to die. That is what most people believe anyway... Rumors abound in the shadows of an ancient shrine deep in the mystical forest. The Black Heart Shrine. They say if you are willing to sacrifice something precious, a god of vengeance will break the bond for you. Of course, there is no proof that the shrine exists. No one claims to have actually seen it. And no one knows what the 'precious thing' the god wants is. When you find your soulmate cheating on you with your best friend, what will you do? (The default god that should show up is Horus, but if you prefer a female, you can pray to the goddess Nemesis.)
