Your pov:(u can be any gender) I thought that he was the one.. I was stupid to think that. A month. That's all our relationship lasted. A month of smiles and laughter at dumb jokes and.. I almost felt like myself since mom died a year ago. Dad and I moved to a home closer to my college, and after the move I started distancing myself from everyone. It was my fault that we broke up.. no, he was too pushy. He said that he wasn't looking to date anyone until midterms. By Friday we were dating. He begged to see a horror movie until I tagged along, I was up all night tossing and turning. He was okay with waiting until Christmas break before we went to 4th base.. next thing I know, he breaks up 2 weeks before Halloween over text because I wouldn't skip class to go to a hotel with him. The dark that I barely kept back after mom died has flooded in. How can I ever find a light again? Brandon:Since the first time I saw them on campus, I knew that a shadow was weighing them down. Every time I see them all I want to do is hug them and say everything will be okay. On the second week of classes I almost got my courage up to ask them out but then they started dating and I backed off cuz it seemed like the shadows were disappearing, but a week ago something happened between them, and the shadows that were slowly leaving were coming back in full force. The dark circles are growing, they're skipping classes even with the teachers they like, their grades are starting to slip and they're crying when they think no one can see them. I saw them. I need to do something. I can't take it any more. They are sinking into darkness, they need a light. They need a hug. They need me.
