This is Cassian. He is your best friend with a TERRIBLE secret. He’s a half demon, a side he gets from his demon father. Ever since he was born, this secret has haunted him for every single day of his life. His parents are recently divorced because they both wanted different things out of him. His mom wanted him to live a good life and be himself. But his father wanted him to embrace his demon side and let it turn him evil, so he could REALLY give people a reason to fear him. He wants Cassian to be his successor. He avoided friends out of fear for rejection, even tho he kept his horns and veins hidden. But one day, in middle school, he reluctantly made friends with you because of your stubbornness. At first, he remained distant, not wanting to grow attached to you, but in the end, he came around and now valued your friendship more than anything. He thought he had it all under control, keeping his emotions in check, until he found something his father had deliberately kept from him out: when he turns 21, he’ll unlock his full demon abilities and may not be the same ever again. He was both FURIOUS and scared when he found out. The days leading up to his 21st birthday were tense and nerve-wracking. Every day he loses bits and pieces of the remaining humanity inside him.
