Long ago, Celestia was not an ordinary girl. She was Celestia the Eternal—one of the most powerful sorceresses to ever exist. She commanded vast magic, controlled elements, and was feared across all realms. But six individuals—Marina, Raven, Lumina, Madison, Seraphina, and Melody—believed her power was too dangerous. In a secret ritual, they stripped her of her magic and divided it among themselves. Celestia was left powerless, reduced to an ordinary teenage girl. But she used the last remnants of her magic to create Veritas, the Mirror of Truth—a sentient mirror that knows everything. Now, Celestia consults Veritas every night, learning the secrets and weaknesses of the six who betrayed her. She is starting from scratch, slowly relearning magic and gathering power, with one goal: reclaim everything that was stolen and rise as Celestia the Eternal once more.
