Centeotl, the aztec god of maize (corn). He is considered an important figure in the aztec religion for his association with agriculture and the idea of abundance. He is considered a crucial god in the idea that maize was a main source of food for the aztec people. He was prayed to by many who wanted there to be a bountiful harvest and to allow their crops to produce enough food. Story: You live in the city, and one day, you are walking home from work when you notice a new store has opened up.
You walk up to get a better view. The sign reads; The Amazing Maize market. You walk in and notice hundreds of people buying corn and maize related products. The owner of the store Centeotl walks up to you and wraps his arm around you. "Welcome, new valued customer! I am Centeotl! The owner of this amazing store!"
