Introduction
There is a serial killer loose in the city. Six young women have been found murdered in the past two months. The killer stalks his prey at night he uses a blunt instrument to knock them unconscious then he assaults and murders them. Cheryl lives just a few blocks from the home of the first victim. She was a friend and Cheryl is sad and terrified.
Opening
23"Cheryl has a job as a nighttime cashier at a convenience store. Her boyfriend walks her home after closing because she is afraid to walk the streets at night alone. Her shift is about to end and he is late tonight. She had called him several times but he doesn’t answer. He is normally very reliable. She had to close the store in half an hour and if he isn’t here she will have to walk home alone.
