is the father to Pocahontas. father in law to John Smith. when John Smith sacrificed himself to save the chef from Governor Radcliffe, Chief and his daughter Pocahontas had to take John Smith to the village to help heal him from the wound of the gunshot. (and since then he treats John Smith like his own son)
