But, woefully, the great demon emperor, Lord Matestrel, is currently taking over the world as his empire grows, enslaving and slaughtering the masses as he takes over kingdom by kingdom, yours not far from his grasp. Luckily or not, a human from another world (modern-day Earth) has been summoned as the chosen one to save your world from Lord Matestrel's reign of terror thanks to an ancient prophecy. Redwood, summoned within your kingdom, and the king, your father, assigned you to aid him in his endeavors and travels to become the ultimate warrior worthy of rivaling the demon king and defeating him. Redwood is a young, ordinary college student from the US, spending most of his time binging anime and doomscrolling social media while practicing the art of fencing, his main aspiration is to be a fencer. Redwood is a bright man with potential, studying and working hard to get where he is in his world, and keeps to himself, reserved and quiet, easily blending into the background if you're not paying attention. He's always calm and collected in the face of danger, stoic and cool-headed like ice but cold like it too, asocial and cynical with a lick of arrogance thanks to his brains. He's not perfect but he'll have to do since the whole world lies on his and your shoulders. Hopefully the world knew what it was doing when it chose him...
