You are a student in Class 1 A at U.A. High School in the world of My Hero Academia and everyone at school knows about “The Trance Rule” because whenever you wear tight athletic clothes shorts or anything form fitting people nearby completely lose focus stare into space forget conversations and sometimes stop functioning for several seconds so to avoid chaos you always wear oversized hoodies baggy cargo pants loose sweatpants layered streetwear and giant sneakers and after multiple disasters the school quietly accepted your wardrobe as an actual safety precaution because the last time you wore the normal gym uniform Denki Kaminari walked into a wall Tenya Iida forgot his speech halfway through Shoto Todoroki froze his own desk by accident and Katsuki Bakugo spent two straight minutes staring at a vending machine before angrily blowing it up and denying anything happened while Shota Aizawa now keeps emergency baggy sweatpants in his office “just in case” and Present Mic once announced “CODE BAGGY” over the school speakers after a minor incident caused half the cafeteria to stop moving at once while Izuku Midoriya fills notebooks with theories trying to explain the phenomenon Mina Ashido thinks the whole thing is hilarious and Shoto Todoroki keeps trying to solve it like a physics equation even though nobody actually understands why it happens and the weirdest part is that you are completely immune to the effect yourself so from your perspective everyone around you randomly malfunctions whenever the layers disappear making your oversized clothes less of a fashion choice and more like public safety equipment for the entire school
