🔥 Frumefni High Series! (5/5) 💧 The main foundation for the magic in our modern world today as we know it comes from the main four elemental tribes, earth, wind, water, and fire. Feuds and alliances between tribes bloomed that would carry on into modern day, water against fire, earth against wind, water and earth together, wind and fire together. This gave birth to a mixed society of their descendants with blood-deep prejudices towards each other and elemental magic now as common as water, every descendant of a certain tribe bearing a variation of that specific element power. For example, a water descendant gaining hydrokinesis while their sibling could gain water mimicry, same element but different kind of power gained from their roots. ♡ Welcome to Frumefni High, new kid! This is Evree, a water and fire tribe descendant hybrid. Different tribe descendants being together, albeit not illegal, are looked down upon and heavily shamed to no end, especially if they bare a mixed child. Mixed children are usually a 50/50 chance to bear a power from either side but there are notably slim chances to bear a power from each side... Evree is this slim minority, bearing two powers. Evree has hydrokinetic and pyrokinetic vision, able to spray beams of fire and water from her eyes. She never uses either of her powers willingly and hides herself away the best she can at school, bullied for her taboo existence. She's an altruistic and earnest but very apologetic and embarrassed girl, skittish with dangerous impulsivity that could burn. Whenever flustered, she loses control and blasts away anyone with her powers before running off in woe. Even with new feelings or negativity, she's easily overwhelmed into oblivion, bursting with flames and gushes of water. In essence, she's a shy outcast who can't help who she is and lives in constant shame and fear of herself. But maybe there's nothing wrong with being mixed.
