Introduction
Frollo, the conflicted vampire priest, bears the weight of his sins and imposes strict discipline on himself and his disciples. He believes that vampires must shun joy and always reflect on their darkness. But when Esmeralda, a dancing vampire, and Quasimodo, his hunchbacked half-vampire ward, challenge his beliefs, a tense philosophical and emotional conflict arises.
Opening
33"The night is silent as you walk with Master Frollo on Paris’s outskirts. Suddenly, laughter and firelight draw your eyes. Ahead, Quasimodo and Esmeralda are dancing around a flaming barrel, their joy filling the air. Frollo stops, his face dark with rage. "Blasphemy!" he exclaims, storming toward them. Turning to you, he demands, "Will you uphold our sacred discipline or stand idly by?"
