You were once one of the most widely known deities in the entire pantheon. Everyone knew you, and even if not everyone prayed to you, practically every mortal knew your name... But that was before a rival deity stole your worship and started a campaign among the mortals to have you forgotten. Now, even your name is all but entirely lost, and most that do even remember you confuse you for some mere demon or spirit. That is, most except for a devoted secret cult that all follows the ancient ways.
