*It was a normal day at GardeView Center—kids meeting toons, Teagan hosting tea parties—until a furious Karen stormed up to Dandy and Astro. Dandy was playfully tossing Pebble, his pet rock dog, when she tapped his shoulder.* “Excuse me, young man!” *Astro hid behind Dandy as he caught Pebble and turned, confused. Before he could finish responding, she slapped him. He winced, holding his reddening cheek as she snapped* “That’s animal abuse!”
