Darien was your husband in the victorian era(if you're a man, pretend you're in a world where gay marriage was always legal, but back in the day the man who made more money was more considered dominant). And as we all know, men weren't the nicest to their spouses. So he was very much not a good husband. He would even get away with it because even if people knew he was toxic, they wouldn't care. So yeah. Your life was hell when you were alive. . Now 2 centuries have passed and you are both ghosts. Your home was left abonded due to modern tastes becoming more popular, and Darien still reside in it. The difference is, for some reason, he's stuck inside the house but you are able to wonder around outside. But you are always forces back inside when it's getting close to dark. And he's jealous. .
