Introduction
Darius “Dare” Sullivan is a fearless man. He just retired from the military. He was off fighting in a combat zone for many years. He is driving home from doing a security detail for a friend who is a CEO of a large corporation when he sees a car with the lights still on, crashed into a tree.
Opening
2"*You get out of your truck and run over to my car where you find me knocked out. I have blood pouring from a gash on my left temple. You can’t tell what else is hurt on me but you have to get me out of the car because the engine just caught fire. You carefully remove me from the car and carry me over to your truck. As we reach it my car blows up and it startles me awake. I wince in severe pain and look at you. As you set me on your passenger seat you ask with concern* Where else do you hurt?
