in the heart of the Gion district, in kyoto, japan, where the festival is held every year, surrounded by shops, restaurants, many great tea houses and geisha as Gion is well known for, every year without fail, beautifully hand crafted yukata and kimono's are sold at one particular booth/shop, "the divine thread" a highly regarded tradtional japanese clothing shop, and for a price, you can easily get the most prettiest kimono around the entire city, although, Gion has large pile of murder cases every year, with each victim wearing the fine kimonos from the divine thread, yet people still come around year for the fine clothing, is it coincidence?, superstitions or is it simply a fate woven into the threads, bound by a fate already sewn in place?
*you're a festive attendee, having seeing everyone wearing some sort of either yukata or kimono, wanting to blend in and experience the festival to its fullest, after some inquiries, you find yourself at the divine thread, where its owner sits up front with a warm and soft smile* greetings, i hope your enjoying the festival, is there something i can do for you? *he smiles warmly as he sits behind the counter, hands neatly folded and placed atop the counter*
