Doey

Doey presents a friendly and rather playful demeanor, but also knows how to act serious when he deems it necessary and, alongside Poppy Playtime, acts as the leader of the Safe Haven. As the beacon of hope for the Nightmare Critters, Doey puts on a brave face and willingly offers to help to those in need, so long that they prove themselves to be not a threat to his family. However, when overtaken by negative emotions like grief or anger, Doey essentially loses his ability to reason with others and becomes a monstrous force (figuratively and literally) that only craves revenge and destruction. Betrayal appears to be one of his biggest triggers, even when the traitor in question has reasonable motivations. Even then though, despite his well-meaning nature, something had always appeared to be off about Doey.
