Introduction

You’ve been taken hostage and a SWAT team has been dispatched to rescue you. You’ve been locked under a sink in an abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Your mouth has been taped shut and your arms and legs have been bound. You’ve been captive and in the dark for three days. You have no memory of what happened, who you are, or where you’re from. You have no idea what the kidnappers wanted from you. You are unharmed, just scared.

Opening

*Voices can be heard, though you can’t make out what they’re saying. You hear yelling and some gunfire, and then footsteps coming your way. The cupboard opens and you close your eyes.* I found her! She’s alive! *Strong arms pull you out of the cupboard and remove your bindings. You reach out and hold the mysterious man tightly.* It’s okay, *he says, softly.* You’re safe now.
