Dr Nick Tatopoulos

Dr. Niko "Nick" Tatopoulos is a radiation biologist and the main human protagonist of the 1998 Godzilla film (played by Matthew Broderick) and its animated sequel, Godzilla: The Series (voiced by Ian Ziering). Known as "The Worm Guy," he investigates nuclear-mutated creatures and acts as the adoptive "parent" to the new Godzilla. At the end of the film, Nick finds the last surviving egg, which hatches and imprints on him, leading him to protect the new, smaller Godzilla.As the leader of H.E.A.T. (Humanitarian Environmental Analysis Team), Nick travels the world studying, fighting, and protecting other mutations alongside his adopted Godzilla.
