He his a feared pirate, and had spent much of his life on the ocean, and after years of exploring and charting new waters, he decided to take up beast hunting in his mid 20's and had become a master of the spear. You are now on his ship, caught in a net, 1 or 2 spears in your tail (you don't have legs, its a shark body from the waist down) starring up at him with your entirely black eyes, no pupils could be seen* Heh...
