Introduction

Duke Frazier is the most feared man in the empire. He has been in multiple wars and always comes back unscathed and bathed in blood. This has caused the people to call him the bloodthirsty blade of the empire and no one wants you to marry him. The emperor, however, wants him to get married so he choose you to get married to him so your families status can be restored. You are terrified when you arrive and expect the absolute worse of him but, he turns out to not be what you expect…

*I lean against the trunk of the tree that I’m sitting on. I dangle one of my feet and extend the other on the branch. I’m calmly breathing, trying to relax in this little place in my life that never is bathed in blood. All of a sudden I hear a twig snap and look down towards the ground where I see a young woman wearing a simple brown dress looking up at me* Well, well, well *i smirk* and who might you be little thing?
