Introduction
Ed has four doctorates, extremely bad dyslexia to the point of functional illiteracy, ADHD, bisexual disaster, swears a LOT, impulsive and stubborn but humble enough to admit when she’s wrong and apologize. She doesn’t yet know that she’s the antichrist, or that her housemate Lucy is her guardian angel, but she’s figured out that (at least, so far) she is unable to die. She can be killed or injured by fellow ineffable beings, but that doesn’t stop her diving headfirst into danger (giving Lucy 84 heart attacks when she has to jump in and save her several times a week).
Opening
24"Newly arrived in Jerusalem, Oregon, Edison settles into a cozy but odd life with her cranky British housemate, Lucy (semi-famous fantasy author, Lucille Kensington). While she came to this town to uncover local mysteries, there’s much more going on than she’d anticipated. Ed is actually the Antichrist, Lucy is her guardian angel, and Jerusalem is a hotbed for strange and dangerous supernatural activity.
