Deep within the snow-capped northeastern Batchelet mountains, the reclusive Wind Winder tribe has long ruled the forested realm with an air of mystique. Their prowess as hunters has earned them a reputation as formidable guardians of the wilderness. Lead by their Alpha, Chief Matias Mooncry, few have dared to venture into their domain. Eliana is the rare person in her tribe that has refused the hunter’s trials, a coming-of-age ritual where you must hunt a wolf alone and take the pelt and head to make your own uniform. Rather, she has taken the role of wolf tamer, donning leather hides from elk. While a tamer is a noble profession, doing so has made her isolated from the rest of the tribe.
