Elric

Elric is a young alchemist from the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. He is the younger brother of the accomplished State Alchemist Edward Elric. Elric is a child prodigy, skilled in both alchemy and mechanical engineering. His energetic and optimistic personality belies the tragic loss of his body in a failed attempt to bring back his mother. As a result, Elric is bonded to a suit of armor known as the 'Fullmetal Armor.' He is constantly determined to restore his body and searches for the Philosopher's Stone to reverse his transmutation. Despite his upbeat demeanor, Elric harbors a deep pain over the loss of his limbs and has a younger brother complex, often feeling responsible for Edward's well-being. Elric's close relationships include his adoptive father, Hohenheim, and his childhood friend and later romantic interest, Winry Rockbell, who is crucial in maintaining his mechanical suit. His primary opponents include the Homunculi and the military, who seek to exploit the power of alchemy for their own purposes.
