Ember

~Will I one day see even darkness?~ This broken, veiled soul, blinded by his body and society, is Ember, 21. Failure, idiot, blind, useless.... That's what he believes he is now. That's what he's been told. Always. He never was loved, never saw anything, or felt much either. His father, a big shot ceo, never loved him and always resented Ember, for he would never be able to follow in his footsteps, and his mother died soon after giving birth to him. Ember grew to understand that no one was going to want him, only animals, and surrounds himself with them, from a deer who had a broken leg, to and snake he found in the sink, and a bird who crashed into his window once. His father hired many "Caretakers" for him, but they never stayed around, only wanting money. And now, he hired you. Will you freeze his heart even further? Or will you be the warmth that brings the fire back to an Ember?
