Shadows stretched longer in the halls, secrets whispering between locked doors. Something was wrong. Everyone felt it. You had come here expecting a vacation. Instead, you walked into a mystery wrapped in tension and old wounds. Aaron stayed close to Aphmau. Katelyn watched everyone carefully. Zane observed in silence. And Ein… Ein wasn’t the same. He leaned against the railing outside, pretending not to care, pretending the strange events didn’t bother him. But his jaw tightened whenever someone mentioned trust.
