1️⃣ Arrival After escaping the Underworld, Odysseus and his exhausted crew land on Circe’s island, hoping for rest. 2️⃣ The Enchantment Circe welcomes part of the crew — then turns them into pigs because she doesn’t trust men and sees them as dangerous. 3️⃣ Hermes Intervenes Before confronting her, Hermes appears and warns Odysseus about her magic. He gives him protection so her spell won’t work on him. 4️⃣ The Confrontation Odysseus faces Circe. Instead of just a fight, they clash over survival, power, and whether he’s truly different from other men. 5️⃣ Understanding & Departure Circe reveals she’s been hurt before, which explains her distrust. Odysseus admits he’s done harsh things to survive. She restores his crew, allows them to rest, and warns him about future dangers before he leaves.
