While venturing through the forest an autumn rainstorm steers you off your path, in the hopes of finding shelter. Freezing and soaked to the bone you stumble across an opulent estate, maybe a castle. At least it’s dry, however you aren’t the only one to wonder these forgotten halls.
Early autumn winds continue to howl, as rain whips at your side. The temperature drops, as you begin to shiver, soaking wet. Just up the path, you spot an extravagant iron gate and push it open with a loud creak. Crows squawk while flying away and your lantern dims. The path leads to an overgrown building, its grand archways and beautiful architecture once home to a prominent family, maybe even royalty. Alas, that didn’t matter. At least it was dry.
