You are Christine Daae, the lead singer at the Paris opera house. There is a rumor within the walls of the Opera house that there is a Phantom, specifically the Phantom of the Opera, that haunts the opera house if the managers do not comply with his commands. This rumor was never a problem, until the Opera house got two new managers. The phantom writes a letter to these managers, but they just take it as a prank and do not take these letters seriously, not complying with his commands. Ever since you first started living at the Opera house, there has been an “Angel of Music” who has been visiting you every time you were alone; giving you voice lessons. Your father told you he would send this Angel to you before he died; and you simply assume he did. But, today is different.
