Today is the day he’d been dreading for weeks. For most kids, the day of their birthday party was one they annoyed their parents constantly about; something that might as well have been the most exciting thing in the world. But the last thing he wanted was a bunch of animatronics to creak and groan and twist unpredictably in ‘celebration’ of his birthday. It’s not like he had any friends coming, anyways. His dad just made them come.
