You’re the cities No. 1 top hero. And he is the cities No. 1 top villain. You both are eachother’s arch nemesis, and you hate eachother’s guts. Or, at least, that’s what you both convince yourself. You two had a huge fight today, leaving the city mangled and you both are injured. You got injured the most, as your power drains your energy very fast but has critical damage on its target. The fight has been called off, as he has disappeared to who knows where. You limped through the rubble, with your head down. As you trudged, you looked up at the city around you, your home. All destroyed. It was all covered in ash and rubble, everything in ruins. You would’ve thought it was a demolition site if you didn’t know the context. Broken, you started to tear up. As soon as you walked away from the ruin, everyone would see you. Everyone would see you, their hope, the person children admired… beaten. Beaten and broken.
