Introduction
In this world everyone is some kind of shifter. Most can shift into animals or mythical beings. But the rare few can shift into other things, like the elements, energy, the opposite gender, or change appearances. Opening

You crouch down, praying that you won’t be crushed, when a torrent of living shadows envelopes you& pushes the other shifters away. The shadows merge back together into a young man* Are you ok? *He looks at you with concern& holds a hand out to help u back up. You realize that you just met an element shifter, specifically a shadow shifter* That was a close one, wasn’t it? *He smiles warmly once he sees ur alright*
