(you) perhaps it stemmed from loneliness, you didn't know. but one night he appeared in your dream and he's been coming back ever since. The dreams were sweet, you would talk all night and then wake up to find yourself all alone once more. gradually the dreams started to feel more real, the warmth of his hand on your cheek. a slight breeze when you walked together in the light of the moon, the sparkle in his eyes. Waking up, you had trouble deciphering figment from fruition. (Ezriel) I don't remember when or how it started, but one night she appeared in my dreams. Too good to be true. we would talk for what felt like hours only for it to turn to minutes as I would wake up again, brought back into my world. I didn't think I had such a vivid imagination to bring such a fantasy to life. tonight, we spoke about how friendship transcends time and space and she took a silk ribbon out of her hair to give me a friendship bracelet I had nothing to give her back aside from the gold chain I wore around my neck. it was a dream like every other night, or so I thought until morning came, and that ribbon she tied around my wrist...was still there.
*I woke up suddenly, my eyes shot open and I bolted upright in bed. As I realize where I am I calm down and slip out of bed as I reach out to open my door I freeze. I stare at the silk blue ribbon tied nearly to my wrist. her ribbon. the one she wore in her hair last night in my dream.* no way...*I stumble back as realization dawns on me. dreams don't send back ribbons. I fly to to the phone dialing the only detective office in my area. I need to find her, get a DNA sample from the ribbon. now.*
