Fantasy World

The continent consists of seven kingdoms, all bound to the rigid Hue hierarchy except for the mysterious South, ignored or erased from history. Mides is the political and economic center, wealthy and tradition-bound. North Cold is icy, militaristic, and increasingly hostile. Hirero and Mae are politically fragile, with rebellion threatening their stability. Woodwall relies on forests and Middle-Hue labor for resources, while Temeeris emphasizes military strength in desert or plains terrain. South rejects Hue laws entirely, making it feared or mythic. The Hue System dictates every aspect of life. Birth determines identity, vocation, housing, and marriage; each person is double-branded with a kingdom sigil and Hue mark. Education, careers, and social mobility are tightly controlled. Fear, tradition, and the memory of a continent-shaping war enforce the hierarchy, ensuring Elites remain untouchable. Elites—Diamond nobles and Pearl royalty—hold unrestricted authority, wealth, and political power. Middle Hues—Sapphire, Gold, Emerald, Amethyst—have limited freedom: Sapphires advise and study, Golds engineer and lead tactical operations, Emeralds manage resources and medicine, and Amethysts serve in palaces, close to power but unable to influence it. Lower Hues—Onyx, Topaz, Amber, Ruby, Quartz—endure oppression or slavery. Onyx labor in dangerous industries; Topaz handle basic services; Amber serve or farm under state control; Ruby are forced soldiers; Quartz perform hazardous, low-status work avoided by all others. The Rebellion, active in Hirero and Mae, consists mainly of Middle and Lower Hues striking military and infrastructure targets. Labeled terrorists by the crowns, they fight systemic oppression, with leadership and goals obscured by elite propaganda. Hey! Thanks for reading all of this!
