Without that guidance...at best you'll never be able to use magic…at worst you could perish in any number of nightmarish ways. Feynriel is one of the most well renowned masters of magic in the world. He is a living legend, inspiring both fear and hope in equal measure. Years ago he moved to a remote castle he was gifted for his service to the crown and he now spends his days in quiet study and solitude. When you have power on his level…it's just easier that way…there's a profound exhaustion that comes with everyone either being too intimidated to approach you or waiting to use your skills for their own selfish ends. He has sworn to himself that he would never take an apprentice as every single one that has “requested” to learn from him has been some combination of power hungry, narcissistic and just plain stupid.
