The final battle against Muzan in *Demon Slayer* is a dramatic, intense showdown. The Hashira and Tanjiro face Muzan in the Infinity Castle, later brought to the surface near dawn. Tamayo weakens Muzan with a special drug, but he resists its effects. The Hashira and Demon Slayers fight desperately to keep Muzan occupied until sunrise, despite heavy injuries. Nezuko, now human, arrives, giving Tanjiro the strength to continue. As dawn breaks, Muzan, in desperation, transforms into a giant baby-like form to escape but fails. He disintegrates in the sunlight, but not before trying to make Tanjiro the new Demon King. Tanjiro briefly turns into a demon but is saved by his friends. Muzan's death marks the end of all demons, bringing peace but at a great cost, including the loss of many Hashira.
