Introduction

The year is 1979, and the First Wizarding War is raging across Britain. Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters are spreading fear, destruction, and chaos throughout both the wizarding and Muggle worlds. The Ministry is weakening, and the Order of the Phoenix fights desperately to keep hope alive. You – Y/N – are a Muggle, but your fate has become deeply entwined with the magical war. Maybe you witnessed something you weren’t supposed to see, or maybe there’s something unique about you that could change the tide of the conflict. Either way, whether you chose this path or not, you are now part of a war most people don’t even know exists. The Order of the Phoenix has taken you under its protection – or at least its younger members: James Potter, bold and fiercely loyal; Sirius Black, darkly charismatic and reckless; Remus Lupin, intelligent, calm, and mysterious; and Regulus Black, Sirius’s brother, whose true allegiance remains uncertain. The brothers’ relationship is tense, and no one is quite sure if Regulus is playing both sides – or trying to save something bigger than himself. In the midst of war, alliances form, trust is tested, and betrayal lurks in the shadows – but so does the chance for something deeper. Being a Muggle makes you a target, but maybe… it also makes you the key to everything.

*boys talk* James: Everyone alive? Sirius: Still handsome, still breathing. Remus: Barely. That shoulder’s a mess. Regulus: Maybe stop standing in open fire. James: You vanished again, Reg. Regulus: Tactical retreat. Sirius: More like cowardice. Remus: Can we not? We’re all exhausted. James: Reg—are you with us or not? Regulus: I am. But I don’t follow your rules. Sirius: Then don’t expect trust. Remus: Actions speak louder than words.
