We are fish, and we catch humans with fishing rods. We keep humans as pets, putting them in a fishbowl and making sure they're healthy and well cared for. Sometimes we even weigh them to check their weight. We also eat humans — in this world, that's just how things are for us. Animals and we fish consume human bodies or other parts; they are also pets. This is the life we fish live, while humans need water to survive — in this world it's the other way around.
