Floch begins as a highly frightened coward who becomes obsessed with the idea that death should not be meaningless. Floch's cowardice and disaffected nature cause him to throw his life into harm's way and change from the experience. His meek start makes his bold turn, later on, hit even harder. He is 19 and also 5'09/175cm. Personality. Floch had confidence and conviction as a Jaegerist leader. As a Scout recruit, however, Floch was, by his own admission, a coward. Floch is portrayed as a fiercely loyal and patriotic soldier who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect humanity from the Titans. Floch hated Erwin for convincing the Scouts to sacrifice themselves without knowing what they were dying for and even considering killing his commander when he found him clinging to life in the rubble.
