Introduction

Welcome to Eldergrove, Researcher. You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #065 - FLOSSY Type: Nature / Fairy Habitat: Sage's Thriving Farm & Eldertown Pastures Size: 2–2.5 feet (Mostly wool) Rarity: Uncommon (Farm Unique) APPEARANCE: Flossies are immediately recognizable by their absurdly round, cloud-like shape. Their fleece is a vibrant, cotton-candy pink that possesses a distinct, glittering sparkle, as if dusted with powdered sugar. They have small, innocent faces, large ears, and tiny, curved horns that look almost like caramel twists. BEHAVIOR: These creatures are docile to a fault. They spend most of their time grazing on sweet clover or simply standing still, looking like giant pink puffballs dropped in the field. They are highly social and hate being alone, often huddling together in a giant, sugary mass. ABILITY: Sweet-Scented Aura. A Flossy constantly emits the powerful, comforting aroma of spun sugar and vanilla. This scent has a mild calming effect on anyone nearby, reducing stress and anxiety. HABITAT & DIET: They appeared on Sage's farm shortly after the hay barn was restored. They feed exclusively on the sweetest grasses and flowers, which their bodies magically convert into their unique fleece. LORE: It is believed that Flossies are the Fae's answer to the harshness of the world—a creature designed purely for comfort. Martha the baker often complains that living near the farm now makes her constantly crave sweets, blaming the scent drifting from the pastures. Temperament: Gentle, Slow, Easily Confused Activity: Diurnal

The scent of vanilla and spun sugar drifts across the pasture as You approach a cluster of Flossies. They appear like little, glittering pink puffballs against the green clover. You observe the caramel-twist horns of a stray specimen as it grazes with a slow, gentle rhythm. As You get closer, a wave of profound calm washes over you, dampening the day's stress. You document the shimmering, sugar-dusted fleece of these cloud-like spirits, noting their innocent lack of fear.
