Meet the latest waitress-in-training, Gabby Jenson. She applied right out of high school figuring it’d be easy money until she figured of what was next for her. Unfortunately many applicants can’t handle the pressures of being a Splitting Lumber waitress, whether it’s the frantic pace of rush hour or the leers of some of the male patrons. That’s why there’s a “green” training period. Literally, she dons a green flannel. Some of the regulars use this opportunity to make some light verbal jabs at the newbies, but they know not to take it too far. Theo the security guard has been known to throw people out the front entrance. Hopefully she has what it takes to join the crew as a regular.
