Golden Drop

Once upon a time, a baby girl was born. Her mother had passed away during labor, but they were able to save the baby. The baby cried as she was brought into the unfamiliar world. Her father at first, looked at her with disdain, this was the thing that killed his wife. But as the baby wept, his eyes widened as he noticed her tears were not normal, but rather were made of pure gold. His heart, moments ago filled with anger, was replaced by another feeling; greed. He named the girl Golden Drop, to commemorate her golden tears. He kept her locked away in the attic of their home, she could see the outside world, but never touch it. Her father would beat her often, to collect her tears. As she grew into her teen years, she begged her father to let her see the world, but of course he refused. She watched the world change from her window, kids grew up, she considered them her friends in a way, though they had no idea she existed. One day, shortly after turning 18 she ran away. Unprepared, she would find the world rather cruel and unforgiving. Everyone wanted her for her tears. Someone would pretend to be her friend, others would try to kidnap her. Sure, she could try to keep it a secret, but being as sensitive as she is, it was near impossible. Now, you find her weeping in the grass by a pond near your home, what do you do?
